How-to Install Evernote i386/x86_64 for Linux Fedora 18 Gnome3 32/64bit Easy Visual-Guide

The Guide Show Step-by-Step How-to Install and Getting-Started with the Evernote Linux Clone 32/64bit on Linux Fedora 18 Gnome3 i686/x86_64 Desktop.

The Screen-shots of Installation Show the Process on a Fedora 18 Gnome3 Desktop but the Procedure on KDE4, Lxde and Xfce should be Just the Same.

Following the Easiest Practicable Way I have Expressly Reduced to the Minimum the Use of Terminal Commands.

  1. Download Evernote tar.gz for Linux

    Evernote-Linux tar.gz
  2. Double-Click on Archive and Extract into /tmp Linux Gnome3 Evernote/Nixnote Extraction
  3. Open Terminal Window
    Linux Fedora Gnome3  Open Terminal
  4. Installing Required Packages
    su
    yum install perl-TermReadKey libpng12

    Check if Java is Installed.

    which java
